INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL (TERMS & CONDITIONS)
ABOUT US: TRAVEL CONNECT TRAVEL & TOURS is duly licensed Travel Agency in the Philippines based in Cagayan De Oro City that promotes local and international tours. We are also a DOT-Accredited Travel Partner.
CLIENTS: Refers to any individual or group purchasing services from the Agency.
SERVICES: Includes but is not limited to travel bookings, accommodation arrangements, tours, and related activities.
Below are the TERMS & CONDITIONS for the INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
- Down-payment: required to reserve your slot and date on your travel. It is NON-REFUNDABLE, but TRANSFERRABLE to OTHER DESTINATION/TOURS.
- Reservation Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment.
- Payment Terms: Payments can be made via Gcash/Bank Transfer/ Paypal with 5% transaction fee.

- Currency: All prices are quoted in Philippine Peso and other currencies are subject to change.
FLIGHT DETAILS
- Once flight details are provided (date/time), rebooking/cancellation is not allowed.
- Flight itinerary will be given 15-30 days prior to your travel period.
- Any unforeseen flight changes/cancellation is beyond our control, the travel agency has the right to change the travel schedule if it occurs.
HOTEL BOOKING
- Once a hotel is provided (name of the hotel), rebooking/cancellation is not allowed.
- Hotel booking confirmation will be given 15-30 days prior to your travel period.
VAN TRANSFER
- For GROUP TOUR - the tour coordinator will be the one to contact the van driver.
- For PRIVATE TOUR - we will provide the contact information 24-48 hours prior to travel period.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- All confirmed/paid packages shall be subject to the following charges:

- MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Once booking is confirmed and invoice will be sent, PAYMENTS are NON-REFUNDABLE. However, in the event of MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, only one (1) person is entitled for REFUND and must provide medical records.
- OFFLOAD: Regardless of any reason, only 10% of the total payment will be refunded.
Note: Refund procedure will be done on a monthly basis good for 6-12 months to pay.
FORCE MAJEURE
- Travel Connect is not liable for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
- Force Majeure - full refund less with 10% admin fee or reschedule of group tour/travel period.
CHANGE OF BOOKING
- Transferring to another destination must be done once and must be finalized 3-months prior to the travel period.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
- Clients are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
- Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and any health-related requirements.
LIABILITY
- Clients are liable for any loss or damage which you or a member of your group may cause to any premises or that external venues and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies.
- Luggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour. The fees for porters are shouldered by the clients.
- Clients are responsible for their child and their activities all throughout the trip.
GOVERNING LAW
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
AMENDMENTS
- The Agency reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR EL NIDO AND SIARGAO:
I. TRAVEL & TOURS AND HOTEL/FLIGHT BOOKING/VAN TRANSFER:
I.1 Once finalized and travel&tours details are provided. Rebooking is not allowed.
I.2 Once finalized and hotel booking is provided. Rebooking & cancellation is not allowed.
I.3 Once finalized and flight itinerary/ticket is provided. Cancellation is not allowed. II. LIABILITY
II.1 Clients are liable for any loss or damage which you or a member of your group may cause to
our premises or that external venues and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures
and policies.
II.2 Luggage us at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. The fees for the use of porters are
shouldered by the clients.
II.3 Clients are responsible for their children’s activity during the travel and tours. III. CANCELATION POLICY
(a) ISLAND HOPPING
All confirmed/paid day tour packages shall be subject to the following charges:
1. Seven (7) days prior to tour dates - 50%
2. One (1) day prior to tour dates - 80%
3. On/during the schedule tours - 100% cancellation /no refund
4. Force majeure - full refund can be made except for 10% admin fee
(b) MEDICAL EMERGENCY
Once booking is confirmed and finalized, the tour package and all land arrangement bookings
and downpayments are NON-REFUNDABLE. However, in the event of MEDICAL
EMERGENCIES, only one (1) person is entitled for 50% refund from his/her DOWNPAYMENT
and must provide proof of medical records.
