Domestic Travel (TERMS & CONDITIONS)
I. Travel & Tours, Hotel/Flight Booking/Van Transfer
I.1. Finalized Booking Policies
- Once finalized and travel & tours details are provided, rebooking is not allowed. Additional charges will follow for rescheduling.
- Once finalized and hotel booking is provided, rebooking & cancellation are not allowed.
- Once finalized and the flight itinerary/ticket is provided, Cancellation is not allowed. Rebooking of flights is allowed with charges.
I.2. Force Majeure
Force majeure shall apply only in cases where unforeseen events or government restrictions directly and materially affect the tour destination itself, making it unsafe, inaccessible, or impossible to operate the tour at the destination.
Force majeure does not apply to disruptions that do not affect the destination, including but not limited to:
- Flight delays, cancellations, or re-routing
- Ferry or boat cancellations
- Airport, seaport, or airline operational issues
- Transportation issues occurring outside the destination
In such cases, the tour shall be considered operational, and standard booking terms shall apply.
In the event that force majeure directly affects the destination (e.g., natural disasters, typhoons impacting the destination, local government orders, safety-related closures within the destination), the company shall not be held liable for any surcharges, penalties, losses, or additional charges imposed by hotels, resorts, airlines, ferry operators, or other third-party suppliers.
Any refund, rescheduling, or rebooking arising from destination-based force majeure shall be subject to the availability, policies, and terms of third-party providers and may be subject to an administrative fee (e.g., 10%).
I.3. Itinerary Changes
The itinerary is subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions at the destination, safety considerations, operational requirements, and/or the number of joiners for group tours.
When necessary, reasonable alternatives of similar value within the destination may be provided whenever possible.
I.4. Rates and Pricing Terms
- All rates are quoted in Philippine Peso on a per person basis.
- Most packages are applicable for a minimum of two (02) adults traveling together. Single supplement is applied for solo travelers.
- Rates vary during high, peak, or super peak periods.
- Child rates are on request and subject to computation.
- All bookings are subject to advance reservation. Confirmation of room(s) is strictly subject to the hotel's availability at the point of booking, and all rates are subject to change without prior notice.
- Rates are based on the lowest room category of the hotel. In case the lowest room category is no longer available, the next available room category or similar class hotel shall be offered, and the price difference shall be charged.

I.4. Check-in/Check-out and Early Arrival
- Hotel standard check-in time is 1400 hrs. Standard check-out time is 1100 hrs to 1200 hrs.
- Early check-in is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, the previous night must be booked and paid.
I.5. Special Requests and Services
- All special service requests are subject to availability and/or additional charges upon check-in.
- All transfers and/or tours are on a seat-in-coach basis.
I.6. Baggage and Additional Services
- Allowable baggage is subject to transport capacity.
- In case of excess luggage and transport is not enough to accommodate guests, requests for additional transfer to accommodate excess baggage will incur an additional charge for transfer, which will be billed directly to the passenger who exceeded their allowed baggage limit.
I.7. Nationality Surcharge
- All foreign passport holders will incur a surcharge which depends on their nationality and the type of package availed which they will be informed at the time of quotation. (to be advised by the hotel or tour operator).
- Failure to advise/inform us upon finalization of the booking will result in additional charges.
I.8. Flight Details Submission
- All flight details of passengers must be submitted once the booking is guaranteed.
- Last-minute or on-day flight detail notices will no longer be considered. Guests will be advised to arrange their own transfer.
- No-show on booked dates will render all services forfeited. Strictly no cancellation and modification upon confirmation of booking. No refund will be extended for no-shows, offloaded guests (by their own negligence and not the company), or any unused services.
I.9. Transfers and Pick-up Requirements
- Guests should be in the lobby at least 15 minutes prior to their estimated pick-up time for airport transfers.
- The company will not be held liable if guests fail to be ready in time, resulting in missed seat-in-coach arrangements or any unnecessary incidents.
II. Liability and Insurance
II.1. Client Liability
- Clients are liable for any loss or damage caused by themselves or a member of their group to company premises or external venues.
- Luggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour.
- Clients are responsible for their children's safety and behavior during travel and tours.
II.2. Personal Liability & Insurance
- The company is not liable for any personal injury, accidents, or loss of personal belongings during the tour unless due to negligence by company staff.
- Clients are strongly advised to ensure they have comprehensive personal travel insurance to cover such events, as the company cannot be held responsible for unforeseen incidents.
III. Cancellation Policy
III.1. General Cancellation Rule
Strictly no cancellation and modification upon confirmation of booking. No refund will be extended for any unused services.
Any reinstatement of a booking will be subject to availability and/or additional charges.
III.2. Island Hopping Tour Cancellation Charges
Where cancellation is permitted by management discretion, the following tiered cancellation fees apply:

III.3. Medical Emergency Exception
- Once booking is confirmed and finalized, all arrangements are non-refundable.
- However, in case of a documented medical emergency, one person may be entitled to a 50% refund of the down payment, subject to submission of valid medical proof and management approval.
- For cancellations due to other unforeseen circumstances (e.g., serious illness, family emergencies), clients may request rebooking or partial refunds, subject to documentation review and management discretion.
IV. Destination-Specific Terms & Conditions
IV.1. El Nido
Drone Pilot/Photographer Policy
- The drone pilot/photographer may refuse to use the drone/DSLR in the event of:
- Heavy rain
- Thunder or lightning
- Strong winds
- Large birds flying nearby
- Other weather or safety concerns
- Refund: Php 200 per person if no drone photography/videography is used for the entire tour.
Marketing Use of Photos and Videos
- Clients acknowledge that any photos or videos taken during the tour may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by the company.
- If clients prefer that their images not be used in this manner, they must explicitly communicate their wishes prior to the start of the tour.
- Failure to communicate preferences will be taken as consent for marketing use.
Drone Operation Areas and Conditions
- Drone photography and videography may be conducted at various locations within tour areas, subject to the approval and judgment of the drone operator.
- Drone operations are contingent upon prevailing weather conditions, safety considerations, and site-specific restrictions.
- The drone operator reserves the right to decline drone use at any location based on:
- Adverse weather conditions (heavy rain, strong winds, storms)
- Safety hazards (flying debris, hazardous wildlife, proximity to people)
- Local regulations or restricted airspace
- Equipment technical limitations
- Other factors deemed necessary for operational safety
- Clients will be notified in advance if drone services cannot be provided for their tour.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL (TERMS & CONDITIONS)
ABOUT US: TRAVEL CONNECT TRAVEL & TOURS is duly licensed Travel Agency in the Philippines based in Cagayan De Oro City that promotes local and international tours. We are also a DOT-Accredited Travel Partner.
CLIENTS: Refers to any individual or group purchasing services from the Agency.
SERVICES: Includes but is not limited to travel bookings, accommodation arrangements, tours, and related activities.
Below are the TERMS & CONDITIONS for the INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
1. Down Payment
A NON-REFUNDABLE down payment is required to secure and reserve the Client’s travel slot and selected travel dates. Under no circumstances shall the down payment be refunded. The down payment may be TRANSFERABLE to another INTERNATIONAL DESTINATION, subject to availability, fare differences, and additional charges at the time of transfer. Approval of transfer shall be at the sole discretion of the Travel Agency.
2. Reservation Confirmation
A booking shall be considered CONFIRMED only upon the Travel Agency’s receipt of the required down payment or full payment. No booking shall be held, guaranteed, or confirmed based on verbal agreements, inquiries, or tentative arrangements.
3. Payment Terms and Methods
Payments shall be made exclusively through GCash, Bank Transfer, or PayPal. Payments made via PayPal shall be subject to a five percent (5%) transaction fee, which shall be shouldered solely by the Client. All payments must be settled strictly on or before the agreed due dates.

4. Late Payment and Penalties
Failure to settle payments within the agreed timeline may result in penalties, cancellation of booking, or forfeiture of all payments made, at the discretion of the Travel Agency. The Travel Agency reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice in the event of non-compliance.
5. Currency
All prices are quoted in Philippine Peso and other currencies are subject to change.
CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW, AND REFUND POLICY
1. Cancellation by the Client
In the event of cancellation by the Client, all payments made shall be forfeited, regardless of reason, including but not limited to personal matters, medical reasons, visa denial, or force majeure.
2. No-Show Policy
Failure of the Client to appear at the designated meeting point, airport, or scheduled departure time shall be considered a NO-SHOW, resulting in the automatic forfeiture of all payments. No refunds or rebookings shall be allowed.
3. Rebooking and Changes
3.1 FLIGHT DETAILS
3.1.1. Once flight details are provided (date/time), rebooking/cancellation is not allowed.
3.1.2. Flight itinerary will be given 15-30 days prior to your travel period.
3.1.3. Any unforeseen flight changes/cancellation is beyond our control, the travel agency has the right to change the travel schedule if it occurs.
3.2 HOTEL BOOKING
3.2.1. Once a hotel is provided (name of the hotel), rebooking/cancellation is not allowed.
3.2.2. Hotel booking confirmation will be given 15-30 days prior to your travel period.
3.3 VAN TRANSFER
3.3.1. For GROUP TOUR - the tour coordinator will be the one to contact the van driver.
3.3.2. For PRIVATE TOUR - we will provide the contact information 24-48 hours prior to travel period.
REFUND POLICY
All confirmed/paid packages shall be subject to the following charges:

- MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Once booking is confirmed and invoice will be sent, PAYMENTS are NON-REFUNDABLE. However, in the event of MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, only one (1) person is entitled for REFUND and must provide medical records.
- OFFLOAD: Regardless of any reason, only 10% of the total payment will be refunded.
Note: Refund procedure will be done on a monthly basis good for 6-12 months to pay.
FORCE MAJEURE
- Travel Connect shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, airline schedule changes, strikes, or acts of God.
- Force Majeure - full refund less with 10% admin fee or reschedule of group tour/travel period.
CHANGE OF BOOKING
- Transferring to another destination must be done once and must be finalized 3-months prior to the travel period.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
- Clients are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost baggage.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND COMPLIANCE
- RESPONSIBILITY FOR DOCUMENTS
1.1. The Client is solely responsible for securing and ensuring the validity of all travel documents, including but not limited to passports, visas, permits, and other government-required clearances. The Travel Agency shall not be held liable for denied boarding, entry refusal, or delays due to incomplete or invalid documents.
LIABILITY
- Travel Connect acts solely as an intermediary for airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other third-party suppliers. The Travel Agency shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, delay, damage, cancellation, or inconvenience caused by such third parties.
- Clients are liable for any loss or damage which you or a member of your group may cause to any premises or that external venues and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies.
- Luggage is at the owner's risk throughout the tour. The fees for porters are shouldered by the clients.
- Clients are responsible for their child and their activities all throughout the trip.
GOVERNING LAW
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
AMENDMENTS
- Travel Connect reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms shall apply immediately upon release. Clients will be notified of any changes.
